A meeting between two shinobi

Arashi would walk into the ramen shop, wondering what to have today, as he sat down, some drunken men would quiet down their convorsation, he would listen carefully but he could only make out a few noises, they were obviously talking about a ninja though, he sat down by the window, looking outside at the town. Arashi then thought 'I wonder whats going on at the fruit stand, there certainly seems to be alot of commotion over there, I hope it's not some drunk, I'm really getting tired of dealing with town scum.'

The waiter would then come by and ask "What may I get for you today sir?"

Then Arashi answered, in a cold voice, his eyes darkened, I'd like some spicy beef ramen, a side of dumplings and frog legs, and put it on my tab."

He would then look at the door, sensing someone was going to come in.

Abel Uchiha walked calmly down the street toward the ramen shop. He had had another long day of training, in ongoing preparation for the assigning of his genin-jounin squad. It would be nice to relax for awhile, and he planned to do just that. Noticing a small disturbance nearby, Abel glanced over to a nearby fruit stand. A young, obviously drunk man was yelling and waving his arms around, shouting something about the injustice of something or other. Abel sighed. Who would be stupid enough to make trouble in a village full of ninja? Luckily several ninja were already heading over to the deal with the man, so with a sigh of relief Abel ducked into the Ramen shop, prepared for and enjoyable meal.

Arashi glanced at the Uchiha, he could tell by the sharingan, he would see he was a genin, by his height and stance, and that he was to join Arashi's squad, by the way he was looking around. 'So I get an Uchiha in my squad, this should be interesting.' thought Arashi as he absentmindedly glanced out the window, looking again at the young drunk by the fruit stand, by the way he was waving his arms around he was complaining about the ninja coming to assassinate him, troublesome fool.

The waiter came with Arashi's food and quickly walked away. Arashi motioned for the Uchiha to come to him.

Abel had only just walked into the restaurant when a young man beckoned for him to join him. Pushing and shoving his way through the crowd, Abel eventually managed to reach the unusually deserted corner where the ninja sat alone. Pausing for a moment to bow respectfully, Abel quickly seated himself across from the older ninja. He glanced over at the retreating waiter, and sighed. His food would have to wait.

"Greetings Sensei. I am Uchiha Abel, and it is a great honor to meet you. I look forward to being able to train with you." Of course Abel knew next to nothing about the man, except for some random rumors, and those could never be trusted.

Arashi would see the Uchiha bow and say his name. Arashi would then say "Hello Abel, my name is Arashi Urufu, in order to know eachother better, we will list our intrests, hobbies, and future goals, but first I will ask you three questions, and you can ask me any three questions you want, first, why did you decide to become a ninja, second, what fighting style do you use, close range, mid range, or long range, third, if you could change one thing in the world, what would you change?" Arashi would then look out the window again for a moment to see the bloody corpse of the drunken man, and ANBU gathering it using jutsu.

"I decided to become a ninja because there was never any other option. I do it for the pride of my clan: in order for the Uchiha to become the might that we once were, I, and every other Uchiha born, must push ourselves to the brink of our potential."

"I utilize mainly middle-distance Katon style jutsu, although my fighting style is as of yet undeveloped: I could easily become anything"

"If I could change only one thing, it would be the past. I would avoid the extermination of my clan, and the downfall of the Uchiha."

Abel finished his questions, and pondered what to ask his teacher to find out the most information about him.
"How do you plan to train me?"
"What do you want from me?"
"What do you consider the most important thing about yourself?"

Arashi would look at Abel and say "I intend to train you to the fullest extent, the training you face with me will be the hardest training you will ever have. Secondly all I want from you is a succesful shinobi, as that is the job of a sensei. Lastly, the thing I consider most important about myself is my past, without that I would not be myself, no memories, no happiness."

Arashi would then look slightly sorrowful, but then go back to his near emotionless attitude.

Arashi would then say. "Now, please list your hobbies, interests, and goals." Arashi would then see the drunken man's wife and children weeping by the fruit stand, 'How sad.' thought Arashi.

Abel continued to try to ignore the tragedy growing outside. There was little he could do, and of course he would have to deal with far worse over the course of his ninja career. Turning back to the table, he considered then answered the questions.

"Hobbies? Not many, I enjoy training and studying, but have no serious occupations besides that. I'm very interested in the study of ancient ninja and legends. I like to read about powerful ninja and their various battles and techniques. My goal is to become a famous ninja, and to restore the honor, power, and might of the Uchiha clan to it's old levels." Abel finished, and glanced over at the waiter, who didn't even seem to want to look at the table.

Arashi would then say "My hobbies include training, eating, and reading, my interests, well I enjoy coming here, and I'm interested in becoming powerful, and my future goal is to become as powerful as I can, defeat the man that destroyed my village, and restore my village."

Seeing Abel look at the waiter Arashi would snap for him and say "Waiter, take this man's order." as he would look outside, the townsfolk would be gathering outside frightened, Arashi would say "If you don't mind Abel, when your done eating, can we head over to the training grounds? I'm starting to get a little worried about the townsfolk around here, also I have a training plan in mind."

Abel listened to the man's cryptic remarks. He searched his memory, but could not think of what devastated village the man could have come from. Doubtless he could learn more later, that mattered little right now. Ordering, and quickly receiving his food, Abel scarfed down his meal so he could move on to the training. Already he was excited: He would be getting one-on-one training with his Jounin! He wondered briefly where and who his teammates were, but quickly moved on. Who cared, they could train later. For now Abel would be content to grow in power on his own.

Finishing his food, he stood up. "I'm ready, let's leave."

{EXIT}

Arashi would look at Abel as he was leaving, Arashi would say "You go ahead, I've got to pick up something for the training lesson, don't wait for me, just go on ahead!"

Arashi would then walk out the door, avoiding the fruit stand, he would then leap on top of a building and leap from building to building towards the housing district, as he leaped he wondered 'Will this Uchiha be anything like... no, there is no way.' Arashi would then think about the people by the fruit stand, the thought would bring painful memories of his village to him. Then he remembered his final words to his brother 'I will destroy you, no matter what!' Arashi was beggining to wish he had never uttered those words, but he had to get stronger and avenge his clan, even if it ment killing his only brother.
